About the BC Baseball Academy
The BC Baseball Academy was established to continue the Mission Statement of BC Baseball (i.e., to organize and promote youth baseball, to perpetuate the interest and the love of the game and to provide an opportunity for teams and players to compete in baseball at a higher level). The Academy added several additional focus points to its philosophy and purpose, mainly to provide an opportunity for players to become part of BC Baseball and to provide coaching for players to succeed in competitive baseball.
The Academy began in 2006 with its first teams beginning play in the Spring of 2007, utilizing the Starpath name for its youth level teams. In the Fall of 2008, the Academy began utilizing the name Team BC when it began its high school age program.
